Will you link me? Short answer: Yes, probably. Why do you update five days a week with only medium art, instead of once a week with a smashing page? Because mostly, I want to tell a story. Obviously I also want my art to be smashing, but let's face it: as long as I make no money out of it I can't spend 25 hours worth of work on a single page. I spend, like, three. Total. Will Harrazade and Beast have sex? Or marry? Right. Answering yes or no here would be a major spoiler, wouldn't it? Why make a webcomic of a story everybody already knows? Because it's my favourite fairytale. It always has been. And I've read countless versions of it. Some are easily recognisable to the 'original', others are only using the main plot. I still love it. And upon realizing that most of my writings carry elements of this story in them, I thought it might be a good idea to simply 'get it out of my system' sooner rather than later. So far it has been great fun! :D Do you know what will happen, or do you make this story up as you go? I have a finished manuscript of this story. I know how it begins, I know how it will end, and even if I may make some slight alterations to the parts in the middle, I know what's there, too. This is simply because I'm not smart enough to make everything up as I go. Writing the whole thing down first, then draw, seem much easier to me. Do you have a buffer of pages? And if so, how many? I used to. When I started this project I had almost three months worth of finished pages. They are all gone by now. I hope I'll be able to miraculously make a new one.
That's all so far, folks:) |
